The Story Behind the System
Armature started in a rented lab bay outside Hsinchu with three engineers and a frustration: every "edge AI" board on the market was really a demo kit wearing an enterprise price tag. Nothing was rated for a real factory floor, nothing shipped with a supply guarantee longer than a product cycle, and every roadmap could vanish the moment the parent company changed strategy.
We built the AR-9 platform to fix that. One sealed module, one toolchain, one signed supply commitment designed alongside the robotics and drone teams who'd actually have to bet their product on it.
Today the same firmware image runs across three module tiers, in production at 62 companies, on plant floors and offshore rigs and rail platforms that don't get to go down because a cloud region had a bad day.
